• Origin: Congo
• 70% organically grown forastero cocoa, conched for 20 hours.
• The cocoa is produced by small producers around Virunga National Park in eastern Congo. The cocoa trees form a buffer zone along the park, limit deforestation and help protect the habitat of the world's last mountain gorillas. More than 13,000 families have more than doubled their income through cocoa cultivation. Also available in pastilles: very suitable for a full, fine chocolate.
• Taste note: An accessible round chocolate, with notes of morels, blackcurrants and black tea.
