Dick Taylor Craft Chocolate
Two pairs of right hands make the most elaborate chocolate in the US. Adam Dick and Dustin Taylor are true craftsmen. Traditional techniques, classic machines and an authentic taste. That's what the small factory in Eureka, California, is all about. It is almost a sin to break a Dick Taylor bar to eat it. All chocolate is poured into moulds with fine drawings. This results in small works of art. In the factory, the packaging is made with an old-fashioned printing press. You would actually like to keep the packaging. Adam and Dustin started out as boat makers. In 2010, they became interested in the world of chocolate. What attracted them to wood, also attracted them to chocolate. A rough plank of wood is transformed into an eye-catching piece of furniture. They turn a cocoa bean into a special bar. A Dick Taylor bar needs nothing more than a bean with a unique flavour and a sugar to match. Adam and Dustin do not add extra cocoa butter, vanilla or emulsifiers. Dick Taylor chocolate is packed with flavour. Keep your bar handy (put it next to the sofa or on your desk) and have a piece at different times of the day. That way, you'll notice a different flavour each time you taste it.
