Blanxart - Negro Ecuador 95%
The Nacional from Ecuador is one of the most aromatic types of cocoa available. The Blanxart Negro 95% stands out for its powerful, spicy notes.
The cocoa is grown in the flow area of the Guayas river, in the province of guayas. The beans are from the Nacional cocoa variety, which can be found almost exclusively in Ecuador, although small quantities are sometimes grown in Colombia. It is predicted that these beans will no longer be available in the near future. The beans grown along the Guayas River belong to the sub-variety Arriba di Ecuador, but the Blanxart Negro Ecuador 95% bar contains several Nacional cocoa varieties from Guayas. The cocoa has been bred by several small producers in the region.
